Well, not only do they waste time and tax payer dollars writing legislation that sucks, but then we have to pay again. The state of Illinois passed a law related to video games and when it is declared unconstitutional, the tax payers (State of Illinois) then has to pay for the legal fees associated with combatting this stupid unconstitutional law. here are the stories: Link and Link

When I signed up, I was able to get some free points, which I then used to 'buy' a game: Heroes of Might & Magic: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff for the Playstation 2. Got it within a week of 'buying' the title. SO, how does this work and how do they make money. Well, you can pay them $1 per point, which is what you use to order games on their site. In the article, there was a great link to a page, which breaks down Flash! Here it is: Link Of course if Flash wasn't so expensive! I haven't used it, so I don't know how well it works. I only have a bit of experience with Java, but maybe after I play with both.... ah well. Thought some...

This issue has been addressed over and over again elsewhere as well as similiar attempts agains other forms of entertainment. The bill in question is SB 249, introduced in the Michigan Senate by Hansen Clarke (et al) and referred to the Judiciary Committee for action. The State Senate is out on Easter break right now, but will be back soon. It is a shame as parents will buy what their kids want any way. Why do some states and people want to legislate a parent's duty as a parent? ...
