Well I went hunting a couple of weeks ago and was bragging about the new gun my dad bought me, a 12 gauge Remington 1100. A guy I work with asked if I wanted to join a Trap shooting league.
I did and shot for the first time this past weekend in the league.
My impressions are as follows:
Lots of fun. Different and harder. Shoulder hurts a tad the day after. Got to see some very, very cool guns and now know the meaning of cool gun!
Like joining a bowling league, but you don't go against another team, done in a 1/2 hour, probably much more drinking, but I don't know, since I had prior places to go that day. I'll let you know next time. Very social type experience.
Overall, it was cool and I expect to do it a couple years, but after I become a good shot, I don't know how much I will continue doing it.
Anyone else do this before?
