This is a cool article on how to do it on Linux. Something Ihave been considering!

When I say a Screencast, vlogging, vidcast, I am refering to the use of a RSS feed to produce a podcast using video.
I have been bouncing around a LOT lately about doing some sort of Screencast of some sort related to my daily job functions.

As such, this Linux Blog has a bit about video recording on Ubuntu and there are comments on the variety of ways to do a screen capture:

Tuxvids.com has some decent videos too, although it is not a Screencast.
I have done some with Windows Media Encoder 9 Series from Microsoft for some Windows stuff too and I have found it to be slightly lacking in capabilities. Here is an okay Blog on using the WME:

Of course, I have used Camtasia before and it rocks, but I prefer free software, where I can.

Anyone else out there doing this as of yet?
Stardock??? I know this is the way to go for the future for software and getting folks hooked on your stuff!
